Hi Riley

Perhaps you could make a comment regarding the status of mRemoteNG as a project?

For more than a year the user base has been left hanging without any idea of your intentions.

Thanks.

Agree with Neville

It is a bit frustrating that mRemoteNG has not been updating since 2013. Do you have any plans for development or does it mean it's end of life/support for this product?
I haven't fully migrated to this software yet (still using PuTTY CM) mainly because of the absence of any activity. Don't think it's a good idea to migrate from one end of life product to another :)

Would be great if you can shed some light on the current state of things around your product.

Much appreciate

The way that Riley abruptly abandoned this project is truly disappointing.

I regret donating $50 just before he did this, and I regret the hours I spent writing bug reports and discussing new functionality in the project's associated JIRA/Confluence systems.

With the mRemoteNG project having died the way it did, in hindsight it would have been better to just buy a license for a commercial product such as Royal TS, which is being actively developed, and to spend my time reporting bugs and discussing features in their forum.

I do agree with you Neville. It does not look nice.

Even though I've donated significantly less than you, I've been planning to donate more. Also, I have done that just before he quit to maintain it.
I've spent hours migrating my PuTTY CM database to mRemoteNG only to find I've changed one DEAD software by another DEAD software.

I will definitely find something commercial now.
