The same issue with regards to doubleclicking an entry to close that i reported after RC1 is still happening with RC2.
it does appear to work sometimes but mostly not. I have not found a definitive method to determine under which circumstances it will work as yet.

doubleclick doesn't close only tab open, under any circumstances that I can find; middle click works fine.

Otherwise it's as least as good as 1.69 in my limited testing.

It looks like there's going to have to be an RC3. I'll see if I can get the double-click issue fixed for that.

OK. This is fixed and will be included in RC3.

that's great to hear, thanks very much. I've also encountered a focus bug in RC2(haven't done any config in RC1) whereby the Config panel is not focus'd when you click on it the first time.

I am unable to reproduce this. What kind of connection do you have open? If it is Telnet/SSH, are you using PuTTYNG that comes with mRemoteNG, or your own copy of PuTTY?

Connection open is SSH v2, it is using the installed putty. when switching away and back to mremote by clicking in the Config section focus isn't switched to it until another click is pressed.

1.70 RC creates a new, numbered config backup each time it is run.

It needs to manage those backup files in some way, to limit the number of backup copies.
