as we have seen, the developer has stop the development of mRemoteNG, so it's now time to find a suitable alternative.

Any advice?
I already tried RoyalTS but it is much less intuitive to use and also it is much slower in opening etc.

I was using mRemoteNG for managing my SSH connections and I appreciate it. Then I decided to start my own project. The result is the small project WinSSH ( However, only PuTTY protocols are supported, so it might not be what you're looking for. You can also have a look at MobaXterm ( But to me its GUI is kind of strange and I don't like it.

I haven't found any suitable replacements either... So, I've been trying to maintain my own copy of mRemoteNG... I've been posting them on github:

I post the binaries for the portable version (just unzip into a directory and create a shortcut).

If you're migrating from the "original", you'll need to copy your confCons.xml file from %APPDATA%\mRemoteNG to the mRemote3G directory that you use.
