Bad password on RDP timeout

Postby marklockwood » Tue Dec 01, 2015 3:37 am

Hi,
I've been using mRemoteNG for a couple years, and after a recent update I've noticed that my rdp account is locking out when an rdp session reaches it's connection timeout.
I connect using credentials in the Options-Connections-The Following section, and have "Automatically get session information" disabled. I've turned RDP reconnection to 0 and disabled "Automatically try to reconnect when disconnected from server" to see if that helps.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop the AD account lock from happening?

Thanks

After investigation, all RDP programs are following this behaviour, so I suspect *someone* has changed the default domain policy which is now affecting the RDP accounts.

As a workaround, I've created a powershell script to unlock my account on the Datacentre DC

Thanks
