PuttyNG Fatal Error - Software caused connection abort

"Network Error: Software caused connection abort" disconnects all my open Putty sessions. I know there is a setting to keep TCP connection alive, but there is no way to save it, is there? Every time I go into tools--> options--> advanced --> Launch Putty and change it, it never remembers it.

Bump. Anyone have any info on this? I am getting disconnects after a bit of idle time in Putty using mRemoteNG.

Everything within PuTTY is saved in the putty sessions. This means that you will need to make your config changes (open PuTTY -> Connection -> check "Enable TCP keepalives") and save it to some session in PuTTY. If you have custom sessions saved for tunnels/ssh keys/etc then you will need to make the change and resave each session. mRemoteNG uses the "Default Settings" session by default, so any SSH connection in mRNG that does not have a specific session set will use that one.

Done. I'll update if it worked after a few days. Thanks for your help!

It's only been one day but it's working fine now. I left a bunch of SSH windows open when I went to sleep last night. This morning they were all fully responsive. Problem solved.
