How to permanently unpin a fullscreen RDP session?

I expect I am missing something very simple, but I have been through the preferences and settings and do not see anything that appears to apply.

I use mRNG to connect to an RDP session. When I expand to fullscreen (which I typically do every time I connect), the mRNG application bar (for lack of a better term) is pinned to the top. Obviously, it can be unpinned per session by simply clicking on the pin; however, is there a way to permanently unpin the bar so that unpinning is not necessary every time I connect?
