Keyboard Shorcuts

Postby ninguno » Mon Oct 04, 2010 7:07 pm

mRemoteNG is really great! It works with RDP and Putty in the same window, something I been looking for a while.

To be trully awesome, I think it's missing some kind of keyboard shortcuts to made switching between sessions easily, for example something like
CTRL+D to duplicate a session
CTRL+ALT+LEFT/RIGHT arrow to move to left or right session tab.
CTRL+X to close tab,
etc.

What do you think about it?

Thanks and best regards

there are some problems with using shortcuts while connections are open. when having a RDP connection is open all shortcuts are send through the application rather than being processed.

I think (especially for the more window centered amongst us) maybe making easy point and click possible. Session duplication right now is fairly easy. If anyone has any ideas about options that could even be easier (and how to make them easier) i would certain like to know about it.

Two other shortcuts would be nice and save a lot of time :

Ctrl+tab : go to the next opened connexion screen
Ctrl+shift+tab : go back to the previous connexion screen

>> for the RDP connexions, maybe we could desactivate easily the send of shortcuts to the application with the windows key or the command key (for example) and restore the send of shortcuts with same key.
