thanks for developing mRemoteNG! Just noticed there is a new release so have downloaded, installed and so far so good!

External Tools Page - cannot close

The External Tools tab used to have an "X" to close the page - just like every other "Connection". This occurs if the External Tools tab is the only connection open.

This is now missing and there is no way to close the External Tools page unless you exit the application and restart it.

EDIT:

If you open another connection, then the External Tools tab DOES have an "X" and you can close it. So...my current work-around is to go to Help->About->Website,
This opens the mRemoteNG page in a connection and then I can close the External Tools Tab and then the mRemote webpage tab as well.

I tried this - no problem, the "X" is present under all conditions. (Win 10 pro DE, mRemoteNG 1.74 (2016-06-20), Lang:DE)

Long time mRemoteNG user here and I'm very happy to hear about the continued development of mRemoteNG. I've tried several other RDP managers out there but keep coming back to mRemote due to its lean approach.

Have tried the new version and it seems to work great. I had to reset the view layout to get "Connections" panel to behave/display properly (to enable to pin/hide).

Since there are new developers, I figured I'd float some ideas for future versions. Not sure if these are possible to implement but here I go anyways.

1. Add option to move connected server tabs to the same area as Menu and Quick connect toolbars. This would allow for more RDP session screen real estate (especially in nested RDP sessions).
2. Option for a dark theme (or expand the current theming solution) so that the Menu toolbar and the Connections panel can be made dark.

Cheers,

Eddie

Finally mRemoteNG got updated, thanks for the great work!

Since I always using full window to do remote connection, so it's nicely if mRemoteNG could add also show/hide the menu bar to maximum the window size.
(I've made a small change to the source code and add a button like below, if formal release could provide similar functions like this, it would be great. Thanks.)

e.g., a super clean window :)

mRemoteNG is licensed under GNU GPL v2 (https://github.com/mRemoteNG/mRemoteNG/ ... OPYING.TXT)

In short: free for public and commercial use.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

After installing this, when I remote connect to any server/computer, the display is very fuzzy. How does one fix this?

Thank you very much for picking up this project. I love mRemoteNG and have used it for a long time. I'm so glad to see it brought back to life so to speak and I'm looking forward to your new enhancements. I have upgraded from 1.72 to 1.74 on Windows 10 and so far it's working well (1.73 didn't work very well)
