Easy print on TSE : bug, feature or misconfiguration ?

Postby francois-web » Mon Oct 28, 2013 7:21 am

Hello,

Using mRemoteNG for long without any problems. Thanks for the work done so far.

My question is the following : our TSE Server configuration changed last months to use Easy Print Driver (Windows 2008R2 server / Windows 7 Pro 64bits client / mRemoteNG 1.70 & 1.71RC2).
In this configuration, the default printer isn't mounted in the TSE session (under mRemoteNG) as it is when session launched from a TSE shortcut.

Is it a bug of mRemoteNG, a missing feature, or a bad configuration from my side ?
Any hints or tips ?

With regards,

François

In the Config panel for the connection, under Redirect, do you have Printers set to Yes?

Hi,

Yes, it is.
I didn't specify it explicitly in my first post, sorry.
As I said, things worked fine before Windows server config has been changed to use Easy Print Driver.

Does it work if you use the standard RDC Client (mstsc.exe)?

Hello,

Yes, it works with the standard mstsc.exe. That's the current way we use.
